Cherishing tradition
This story began three centuries ago, when Aron and Gorda, husband and wife, settled on the slopes of Rudnik mountain, determined to lay the foundations of a new life.
Wanting to lead a strong, proud and decent life in Velereč, Gorda planted the first plum tree on this fertile land.

Milovanović–Škorić
The progenitor Gorda was the female ancestor of Branko Milovanović, who together with his son-in-law Veljko Škorić established the Milovanović-Škorić estate, continuing to take care of the estate that had withstood the test of time.
1994
Veljko Škorić
In 1994, Veljko Škorić started production again, allowing our family to honor its roots, the fertile land, but also the values we have cherished for centuries.
Selfless sharing
With these noble goals in mind, we selflessly distributed Gorda brandy among our family and friends for fifteen years. However, the story of the incredible quality of this brandy was passed by word of mouth and the circle of friends, family and sincere fans of Gorda grew bigger each day. This resulted in the launch of Gorda's commercial production.
Gorda today
Today, Gorda Plum is one of the most popular plum brandies in Serbia. Over the years, it was joined by Gorda Quince and Gorda Apricot. We apply innovation and creativity, but we think carefully about each new step and how it could delight true connoisseurs of the highest quality brandy.
With such a rich history, we stand firmly in the present, but move towards a future filled with pride and optimism – and we expect to see you there.
